Wolf Crane - Los Angeles

The cocktails are excellent, and the whiskey selection is impressive. A nice addition is the well-ventilated patio area near the front entrance, allowing you to enjoy your drinks without worry.

It was easy for us to find a table for our group, but the bar was incredibly busy, making it hard to place orders in a timely manner. The staff was attentive and did a good job, but it simply took a while to get everything handled, and the crowd made it difficult to determine the order of service. Having someone dedicated to taking orders from the floor might have improved the experience. The decor and ambiance were lovely, but the music and overall atmosphere felt pretty typical of a lively LA bar. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised, but given that it’s a Japanese whiskey bar in Little Tokyo, I was hoping for a little more of the Japanese vibe in the atmosphere, similar to what I might find in a bar in Japan. Overall, I do plan to return, likely during a less hectic time and with more focus on whiskey.

This place has an amazing atmosphere as soon as you step inside. The music is lively, and everyone is ready to dance. You can choose from various seating options, including a patio, high tables, and a full bar that offers an excellent selection of Japanese whiskey.

The only drink we had was the SPACE CADET strongly recommend it if you like UBE, the flavor was outstanding . Bartender was very friendly.

Wolf and Crane is a great bar with a ton of whiskey options. I love that. I will be back! I don't love the lack of seating, the overly packed inside, and what felt like no air conditioning. It took forever to get to a bartender and sometimes there was only one available. Definitely gonna need more bar tenders with so many people. I highly recommend for them to add some more seating, some how, and/or have a limit to how many people are inside. Whiskey flights are only on Wednesdays? That's... Odd to me. I hope they change this to every day. note their non alcoholic drinks are actually super good! Bring your DD happily haha. Definitely an amazing whiskey selection and I really can't wait to try more.
