Nelly's - LOSTWITHIEL

Visited Restormel Castle and wanted a little bit to eat after. This was an adorable establishment with excellent pasties. Easy parking nearby and an outdoor wall by the river to eat. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Steak Pies. comfort food at it's best! Hinder Surprise Vegetarian pies are delicious also. Fill up your glass milk bottles and join the plastic free revolution...!

Just came back from short stay at Lostwithiel, in Cornwall. I came across this place and i had read the reviews before my visit. I cannot understand those who gave a bad review....On our last day we went here and ordered a traditional pasty, a cheese pasty, a sausage roll scones and rock cakes for our 6 hour journey home!. We didn't eat them until the evening when we arrived. What a delight! I can honestly say these are the best pasties i have ever tried and the shop and staff were great!! There were 2 ladies making fresh pasties while i ordered. The man who served us was really helpful too. The flaky pastry was amazing. The scones too were delicious. The rock cakes were massive and delicious.. I tried other scones and they can be dry and tasteless, but these were perfect, even the next day.. I highly recommend this lovely little bakery Nelly's, while in Cornwall. Its definitely worth a visit. I cant wait to go here again next time!

As a Northerner far from home I can hand on heart say that this is a Mecca for a banging pie in a land of pasties. Steak and cheese Great pastry, delicious filling. Just add Henderson's relish!
