Updown - Luxembourg

We popped in here for a lunch. The food was great and the chef came and talked to us and we sampled his beautiful apple tart for desert. I would recommend a meal an drinks here

We have made a point of visiting this bar every time we go to to Luxembourg. Situated in the Grund area, it is ideally situated for refreshment after a long stroll round the area. Really nice staff, especially the Irish barmaid, and the food is surprisingly good (highly recommend the sliders). Scots pub sits across the road from it, and though idylically located, I would suggest you head for Updown Bar for a superior menu and welcoming ambience.

Great place for a casual drink and bite to eat. Always a welcoming atmosphere. Cool basement area inside the fortress.

Cracking music, great staff and amazing local beer!!!! Stopped for a quick one and can't remember leaving....

We had drinks here on a cold December eve. My husband tried a local schnapps I had a cider. Very friendly attentive bar keeper great location
