Great vegan kebab, I took a plate with salad, nice service and reasonable prices.
The place has a very authentic feel of a middle eastern fast food, which is a plus, but I must say that the loud arabic music makes it a bit hard to communicate with the people working there... But I guess it's a cultural thing and it's a minor problem anyway. I've been there twice, the falafel I got in September 2016 was absolutely fantastic, probably in my top 5 ever, with well balanced ingredients, fresh veggies, crunchy, but not dry falafel balls, a splash of marvelous vegan garlic dressing, very good hummus and very decent pita. My second visit was in April 2017 and I got a pita with fake chicken which was also very decent, but to be honest I kind of wished I had taken the falafel ; Still, fake kebab is quite uncommon in this part of the world, so I appreciate that! And it was very decent, it's definitely something for people who miss the taste of meat. Overall, very good experienced, I recommend to everyone! Updated from previous review on 2017 05 18
Jalla Jalla has some great choices for vegans. This place has the authentic kebab place flair and you get served fast and friendly. The garlic sauce they make is by far the best I have ever tried and their hummus is also very delicious.
I'm so glad this place wasn't in San Diego from 2005-2012 when I was going to bars a lot or I'd weigh a ton, because this is superb drunk food done really well. Faux meats, falafels, vegan sour cream, french fries. It's so good, even after only 1 beer.
