Ebby's North - Mantoloking

Restaurant was full of flies, forgot our appetizer fish was not great! Servers were sweet.

This is the second time my friend and I have eaten here, and both have been GREAT. The Clas Ebby are to die for and I love the Ebby salad. Their entrees are also unique and delicious. Both times we have been too full for dessert but I am sure they are good too. Very friendly and helpful servers both times. We will be back again and again whenever I n the area.

I will probably never go here again after what happened last night. My husband and I got to Ebby's around 8:15 pm. We were told by the very young (13 or 14 year old) hostess that the wait would be around 10 minutes. We sat at the bar for a drink, I checked in about 20 minutes later and she said a table was opening up in the bar area we said fine. After 10 more minutes the table was cleared and a party of 3 sat down. I asked what was going on with our table and not given a real answer. Then another party came in also 2 people and they were seated. After 45 minutes we left. The Hostess came out side to tell us a table would be opening really soon. We said thanks but we were going home. If it was not for the fact a child was handling the front I would have said a little more than that. I not really sure why we were snubbed last night except maybe it was because my husband was the only African American in the place and not a celebrity. I guess going south of Mantoloking is not a good thing.

Great Service, large portions, interesting menu, great tasting food. ambiance could be ALOT better.

Great place to eat!! Great food, great people, great service!!! I have eaten here many times and would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone!!
