It was a nice discovery, first of all for the place, characteristic and finely restored without taking away the history from the story But above all the food, the cuisine, the hospitality accompany you in a dimension of relaxation and well-being. The cod in tempura and the roasted octopus are excellent, but if you come to Matera it is not the sea that you need to taste but the land, carefully revisited here with turnip tarts, organic truffle tagliolini (ask Antonio to explain the truffle and its variations and what about the decomposed millefeuille.... In short, an experience, not a dinner. You can do without Michelin stars if you come to the Duni restaurant.
Excellent service, superlative Podolica steak, top wine. They let us have dinner after the kitchen closed (the chef was very kind) I highly recommend.
