I loved the seafood. It was amazing. Especially the marinara styled dishes. Hard to balance flavour with substance but this place has done it!! Especially impressed with the muscles and prawns. Succulent flavour and great texture. Staff very attentive to detail and it was a pleasant atmosphere to dine in. Excellent seafood. Cant go wrong and therefore will be returning.

We have eaten here several times before and the taste of the food has always been good but recently we have had an experience that lets the restaurant down.I ordered gnocchi with prawns, scallops and calamari. Only 1 prawn and no scallops were served! My wife ordered the lobster and prawns linguini. She was served a very thin slice of lobster tail and when the meat was scrapped out it would have barely covered a tea spoon. There were only 2 prawns. We complained and the Chef said that there were scallops in my dish and that I had mistaken them for pieces of gnocchi! And only 1 prawn was because of the cost of them. The same excuse was used for my wife's lack of ingredients - costs. If it is so expensive take it off the menu or put your prices up to match.I would like to eat what is detailed and what I have ordered not what the Chef wants to give me.

A nice local restaurant, the bruschetta was great. There is a regular menu and an extensive specials board which is worth a look. I would definitely recommend and will be back

We visited this restaurant based on some positive reviews but encountered the exact opposite. In hindsight, we were told that the issue with the restaurant is consistency...or lack of.. No customer service whatsoever-There was no Drinks menu. You just had to ask for something and they poured it with no brand or price. We were in relatively early and ordered only 2 dishes. After seeing many large tables being served before us and waiting for over an hour, we decided to cancel one dish. They then came out with our 'Quattro Formaggio' pizza which was not warm, I could only see 2 types of cheeses and there was barely a scattering of cheese...or even butter/garlic/oil for that matter. We decided to forego dessert in case we had to wait another hour. No apology, remorse or menu reduction from the staff. Needless to say, we will definitely not return and will encourage people we know not to go and waste their money. Too many other great places to eat in Port Melbourne....
