The Shrubbery - Mendip

Lorraine and her staff were incredibly helpful and attentive from our first contact 3 months prior to our golden wedding anniversary, all the way through to recommending dishes on the menu and addressing any issues before they arose. On the day of our celebration, they were a comforting presence for both my wife and me.

This charming little restaurant in the heart of Shepton is excellent. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The staff are beautiful and there is a lovely enclosed garden that my little dog adores. You won't be disappointed dining here.

I cannot fault the hotel or the friendliness of the staff. I stayed with a friend for an event in Shepton Mallet. The hotel is stunning, with an ideal location for those attending events in Shepton Mallet. It is also not far from the prison if you wish to visit. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely welcoming, polite, and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for better service. If I ever need a hotel in Shepton Mallet again, I will definitely stay here.

Great service and friendly staff. Friday evening is £25 for two steaks and a bottle of wine and eating was nice.

My 3rd stay and always get a excellent room and good brekkie and plenty of parking space
