Camper - Menlo Park

Camper is dependably good- excellent food, attentive service, but every single time we go, the server greets us by apologizing for how long it will take to get food out. It’s very slow, so plan accordingly. It is also really loud. It would be great to see them do something to soften the acoustics in there- it’s all hard surfaces, and even one boisterous group makes it impossible to hear your own table conversation (and I’m not hard of hearing).

Service was very attentive. The food in principle should have tasted amazing but perhaps there was an issue with the execution. Food arrived cold. I’ll probably return again to give it another go.

We go to lots of restaurants on the Peninsula and other than Protege, a 1 star Michelin, best meal on the Peninsula

Great food and servier from this local gem. We had the Cornbread appetizer with the Stonefruit salad. Both were delicious. For our mains we had the Petrale Sole and the Flat Iron “Greg’s Steak” We left no room for deserts but will be back again soon.

We had the corn agnolotti pasta and it was scrumptious and we ended up ordering a second plate since it was out of this world!
