Aqua Takeaway - Methven

Small family run restaurant, with Japanese izakaya decor. Didn’t expect much, but the food turned out surprisingly good. Worth a try if in town, in spite of many other dining options.

I enjoyed a delightful and peaceful lunch featuring sushi and ramen with pork belly bites. They also had great beer. The atmosphere was relaxed, and both the staff and the dogs were friendly and laid-back.

I took my granddaughter with me because she was really craving sushi. I called ahead, and the chef was more than happy to prepare it for her. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my meal, even though it wasn't sushi. The service was very friendly, and it was a lovely place to sit and chat with my 5-year-old. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, team!

Beef croquettes, Pork wontons, Ramen and yakisoba all delicious. Large portions and reasonably priced. Great find in Methven, thanks
