A few weeks ago, I visited New Peking and tried the cashew chicken dish. It was the most repulsive meal I have ever encountered. It appeared as though they had just scraped together leftovers from previous customers and served it to me. The water chestnuts blended in with the celery, and the chicken looked terribly old and unappetizing. I strongly suggest going somewhere else if you're craving Chinese food, and do it quickly.
This was by far the best Chinese food my family has ever had. Everything tasted delicious and the service was fast and wonderful. Additionally, they were great with our kids. We will definitely be coming back.
I hadn't come to Beijing for dinner for days, they only bought takeaway food, but it's still a good place to eat, I recommend it
We ordered the spring rolls, woton soup and Rangoon for appetizers. They came out hot and crispy with a nice presentation plating of the RangoonThe main course was Mongolian beef and tenderloin steak Kew. The Kew dish had very tender steak that was plentiful, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The Mongolian beef was tasty and tender. There was some oil left on the plate, which was not much of an issue. The onions and green peppers were also delicious and not overcooked. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant, unhurried, and on the more elegant/relaxing side. The server we had kept the drinks filled and the food served hot from the kitchenThis review made between 4 and 5 pm before the normal dinner rush.
