Fried green tomatoes are not the same ,, meals were mediocre Took forever and ever to order and receive our drinks , almost 30 minutes . The flies were absolutely horrible .. I was so embarrassed that I had spoken so highly of your restaurant and it was a huge disappointment. We drove 30 minutes to get there : ... I had thought this was going to be my go to place but not after last night . Chad was apologetic and we could clearly see this was out of his control .
I really wanted to enjoy this place, but it was quite disappointing. I ordered the poutine, and as someone who spends a lot of time in Canada and loves poutine, I was excited to try it. However, when it arrived, there was no gravy—just a broth. I mean, it was literally a liquid broth, not gravy at all. I’m not sure if this was an error or what, but that is definitely not poutine. My fries ended up soaked and soggy, and the cheese curds didn't even melt since they were never in contact with anything hot. The gravy in poutine is supposed to be poured over the curds to melt them, but instead, it just pooled at the bottom of the bowl. It was truly unappetizing. I would have sent it back, but we had a friend from out of town with us, and I didn't want to disrupt the experience. If they don't know how to make poutine properly, they really should consider removing it from their menu.
I recommended this restaurant based on its predecessor, "The Corner," but it ended up being a mistake. When we arrived, the music was so loud that we could barely hear each other. After we ordered and received our food, everyone in our group agreed that it was quite bland and lacked flavor, with the exception of the honey glaze chicken. We had all driven quite a distance, and we were really disappointed. Service: Dine-in.
On a beautiful summer day, the vibe here was really fun. My wife and I sat outside, and simply enjoyed eating someplace without the kids for a while. It was quiet but vibrant, and the food was awesome. There was a lawn out back that had corn hole and other games set up that I assume was for diners waiting for meals, but I don't actually know. Might be kinda fun to take your kids and send them outside to throw bean bags while you and your spouse eat dinner together.
The food was good, but the wait time was extraordinary long. Sunday brunch time .ay not be the time to visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
