Bashamichi Sushi - Millbrae

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a few friends. I ordered a bento box with sashimi, and we also tried their katsu curry and specialty rolls. Everything was tasty and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving some delicious sushi.

This restaurant is a hidden gem for Japanese curry. The sushi was also delicious, but the curry was the standout dish.

We pass this place on the bottom floor of the La Quinta Hotel often and found to our surprise that it is opened all day from lunch on. We went for dinner and had a hard time deciding as there are so many delectable sounding choices on the menu. The waiter saw us weighing and recommended the Lover Combo, which consisted of a rainbow roll, a dragon roll, 8 pieces assorted nigiri, 8 pieces assorted sashimi, and 2 miso soups. It was the right choice and was delicious. The fish was fresh, and the seasoning just right. There was enough for at least 3, if not 4 servings, but the two of us ate it all. I would have given 5 stars had the rice being stickier, which is key to sushi. Service is excellent and the bill is less than what I would expect from a sushi restaurant.

Yum. No words. Just yummy. Service was great.....music not too loud.
