On a summer Wine Dine break, restaurant has glass conservatory doors leading to a terrace which was lovely cooling as the weather was so hot. Staff friendly welcoming, prompt service. Chef forgot part of my starter had to query where it disappeared to!! Main course was salmon, over cooked bland…needed seasoning. Should have went for duck as hubby’s was delicious plentiful. Had chocolate brownie for dessert, disappointing, thin chewy. I like my brownie crisp outside moist, even gooey inside. Despite this we had a lovely break the staff, facilities and great breakfast choice made up for any blips.
Whether it’s for an intimate dinner, a family get-together, a business banquet or a special treat, if you’re looking for fantastic fare in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, it has to be Vettriano Restaurant. This contemporary Irish restaurant has a well-deserved reputation for stunning food and is surrounded by majestic views out over Monaghan Town. Highly-skilled chefs use only the best local-sourced ingredients, the finest fish and the tenderest beef that Ireland has to offer. Menus consist of à la carte and a set menu for €35 per person and children’s, and include options for vegans, vegetarians and those with specific dietary requirements. What’s more, all sauces, gravies and soups are gluten free. Five stars service
Went to celebrate a birthday. Lovely food. Lots of great options. Dessert menu was great-raspberry and white chocolate roulade was delicious. Found it difficult to chose as it had all my favourites-sticky toffee pudding, baked Alaska.. good portion sizes, stuffed afterwards. The room was tastefully decorated too
I had breakfast at this restaurant for two mornings in a row. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and served warm. There was plenty of choices available for everyone.
