The food was good and the pulled pork was on point and served with a variety of BBQ sauces. However, the only thing that stood out was the prices and poor service. Don’t get me wrong, all food prices have increased…but $50 for pulled pork nachos (appetizer) with a garden salad (my dinner) and a pulled pork burrito (hubby dinner) and 1 soft drink? OUCH!
Great food and drinks: we will definitely be back! We have missed Moose’s for years now and were told they use the family’s brisket recipe.
While the building they will be using is under renovation, they are working out of a food truck, but the cooking is being done in the existing building's kitchen. It is rare that I get BBQ that is good enough to eat without sauce. I ate my 1/2 lb of pulled pork today and never touched the sauce container. It reminded me of BBQ I had near Goldsboro, NC years ago. That taste stayed with me. Excellent. My wife added a Hickory Red Sauce to hers. We tried the green beans, home fries, and cole slaw. This give every appearance of good people working their butts off to get things going. If you like good BBQ give this one a try. You won't be disappointed.
