I experienced overt racism from the servers at this restaurant toward me and my family. I've never encountered such hostility before, and it's shocking that they're still operating. I urge other minorities to spend their hard-earned money at a different place where they will be valued. This establishment might as well change its name to Java Hate, as it would be a more fitting description of the atmosphere.

This is the best coffee in Montclair! I can’t wait to pick up my next bag of beans.

"As a somewhat grumpy millennial, I have to say that my experience wasn’t the most welcoming. The staff was all Gen Z, and most of the other customers were as well, creating an atmosphere that felt a bit disconnected. The place was quite busy and noisy during my visit, and the seating felt cramped. The bathroom also left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. I’m deducting an extra star for not offering reusable mugs or cups for drinks. I ordered a cup of tea, which was good quality, but I didn’t see any vegan options on the menu—it honestly didn’t look like they had any. Thankfully, there's a Veggie Heaven nearby."

The strawberry matcha is absolutely fantastic! However, I found the prices to be somewhat steep. The staff is well-informed about the daily specials, but during my first visit, I felt overlooked. They seem to give a lot of attention to the regular customers, which makes it tough for newcomers. That being said, the strawberry matcha was definitely worth it!

The drip coffee is rich in flavor, and the baristas are consistently friendly.
