Chipotle Mexican Grill - Montebello

Been here multiple times at around 9pm 1hr before they close and they always say they don't have Chips for the bowls, and I can see so many bags in the back just sitting there. Very upsetting.

Beware !!! This Chipotle CHARGES you for extra sides while all other Chipotle locations give them to you for free. I ordered my bowl and I wanted more cheese on the side and the lady told me that due to a new policy she's going to need to charge me for the extra side. I frequent many Chipotle locations and this is the first ever I've been told that I would be charged for it. I don't think I'll ever be coming back to this location again. The place is clean and food is good, meat portions are small like all chipotles but overall is good.

Nice clean location with efficient and helpful staff. They helped answer questions for my mom who was new to eating there and even offered a sample because she thought it may be too spicy. Fresh ingredients. Meats looked dry but wound up being moist and tender as expected. Portions are good for the bowls and the interior of the location was well kept. It was located in a good sized shopping area so there was ample parking. Will come back again the next time we are in the neighborhood.

It's your standard fare Chipotle, offering a variety of delicious (responsibly sourced) meats and vegetarian options. The standout star however is one of the management, Angel, who went above and beyond to make sure I got a 5 star experience by comping me my meal when they were waiting for fresh rice to be made. It would have been easy to make the $8 off my burrito, but instead they secured a future customer.
