Le Manoir De L'Etang - Mougins

Great expectations for this restaurant. Firstly we were served carrots and courgette which were not freshly prepared as the carrot edges were going black. Poor start. The meal did however get better ending in two fantastic desserts. The setting is magnificent with views from Mougins...to Grasse but little atmosphere in the actual restaurant its self

Had my birthday dinner in this restaurant for the last 8 years, new chef since last year and I have to say the standard is superb. The fish was so fresh and the quality of the food was excellent. they do the best Pink champayne...ever at the Manoir. Pistachio dessert was delicious and very light. All in all a great meal.

Now I have visited this fantastic place once more. 20 minutes after you pick up your luggage at Nice Airport, you are driving into Le Manoir de l 'Etang through its magnificent gates.Some minutes later you are sitting in a comfortable chair with a glass of...rosé on the big terasse overlooking the beautiful garden , horses and with The l 'etang at the bottom. I stayed for a week and took adwantage of all the beatiful places in the neighbourhood, such as St Paul de Vence, Valbonne, Antibes and Cannes. In the evenings I had my dinners in the hotel restaurant, and I really enjoyed the dishes of chef Laurent. Le Manoir de L 'Etang is The PLACE!

We went to this beautiful place while visiting Mougins and after strolling around its picturesque narrow streets.We were impressed by its beautiful garden and decided to give it a try for some coffee.Chic,welcoming and quiet,there we tried the best macarons ever in the French Riviera.We'll be back to stay!
