I ordered appetizers at 9 PM, including Katsu, Grilled Pork, Shrimp Spring Rolls, and Brussels Sprouts. I’m not usually a fan of Brussels sprouts, but they were surprisingly delicious, topped with shaved Parmesan. Our server, David, was helpful in answering my questions about the food and even relayed my whisky inquiries to Bartender Chris. I enjoyed a “ri” rye and had an engaging conversation about whisky with Chris. Both David and Chris were friendly, informative, and patient with my tendency to talk a lot.

Outstanding drinks and bartenders! They have an impressive selection of Bourbons and Japanese whisky. The small plates are creative and absolutely delicious, while the salads are quite substantial. The staff is very friendly, and the venue is spotlessly clean. The modern decor is sleek, though the high ceilings can make it a bit noisy at times. Prices are very competitive for the Castro area. We truly enjoy visiting this place!

Great drinks with knowledgeable bartenders. Started off with a arugula beet salad which had a great sauce. Had the chicken tarragon with asparagus next which was great flavors. The chicken was rubbery though which ruined the dish in a way. Had some good tater tots to snack on to end while having another drink.

Really liked this place. Go between 4-6pm for their happy hour for $5 cocktails and beer and cheaper plates to share. We tried their wings and chops and friend Mac n cheese and they were pretty good! Their $5 Moscow Mule is pretty awesome.

I tried the steak sandwich, and it was possibly the best steak dish I've ever had for under $10. The tater tots complemented the meat perfectly. While the beer selection isn't extensive, all the choices are quite good, and the margaritas were delicious. Everything is priced very reasonably, making it one of the most affordable happy hour spots on Castro Street. I've noticed that this place doesn't get too crowded. Being a new restaurant, the staff is still working out some kinks, but they were all friendly, attentive, and the service was quick. The atmosphere is relaxed—modern and sleek, but not overly fancy.
