Restaurante o Beiral - Mourao

Wonderful portuguese typical grilled food. Very attentive and friendly staff. Encharcada is simply delicious. Will be back, for sure.

This restaurant would not necessarily have caught our eye but on that evening, as three of the other restaurants nearby that had been recommended were all closed, we took seats outside on the street. The servers were all friendly and one young man in particular tried his best to explain the menu in English, which we appreciated. Our meal of two quite tasty main dishes, salad, a bottle of wine, and one dessert totalled a whopping €32.00 so, at least for us as tourists, it was indeed a very good deal.

Service was quick, food was good, menu only in Portuguese but waiter did very well to translate!

Very good food from the Alentejo region. The staff is very friendly and the ratio price/quality is very good also.Here you can taste wines at a very good price. I loved it and i'm looking forward to return.
