Visited during the Fleadh, best music sessions in the entire town. Lovely staff.

This has to be our firm family favorite pub in Mullingar. We visit regularly and from the breakfasts to the pub grub in the afternoon/evening its definitely the very best. Great choice on the menu and they are absolutely brilliant with kiddies. We visited this evening with 3 kids, aged 11 months, 10 months and 4 years old and they could not be more accommodating and friendly. The food is first class. We love every visit and the staff and owners are just amazing. Best pub in town by far.

Went to gillerans with my family for my birthday. I spoke to the manager on the phone who allowed us to have 8 people to book in. When we arrived we received daggers from the female owner. She then came over to us and told us that If she knew it was going to be a party that she wouldn’t of let us book in. Myself and my family were sitting there trying to enjoy a meal and a drink it was not a party. The female manager then screamed at two members of my family to wear a mask even though she wasn’t herself. A family member confronted the male manager as to why she shouted like that and he went into his face saying everyone has to wear masks. My dad asked why the male manager wasn’t wearing one then and he said he’s a manager he doesn’t have to. We left as we left so uncomfortable! Awful experience!

Excellent food enjoyed here. In and out within the hour. Friendly helpful and efficient staff looked after all of us. Rather good selection and reasonably priced
