A place that serves good quality mutton. Great don’t falter going ahead
As the name suggest, it’s the place for the seafood lovers specially the fish and the very famous Bengali Mishtis.
Acquired a taste for Bong food thanks to Oh! Calcutta. Loved almost everything. The Kosha Mangsho is my favourite. But the meat in it could be a notch better and then it would be Nirvana!
In the jam packed lane of Tulsiwadi lies a gem of a restaurant especially if you are Bengali who relishes his food! For me being a true Mumbaikar, I was a bit skeptical to try out the freshwater fishes and mustard oil preparation of Bengali cuisine. But so impressed I was, after having a feast at Oh! Calcutta. To begin with, they have a well kept and professional Valet Parking which is such a necessity in the cramped Tardeo area. Once you enter the restaurant the seating and interiors of the restaurant are a mix of traditional and modern, to make you feel at comfort. For menu card they provide you a Tablet phone, where you can view how the dish looks like, before you order.Well, we feasted on a variety of dishes each better than the other and it's difficult to call out a favourite.Nizami Murgh Malai Tikka Delicious chicken malai tikkaGondhoraj Mach Steamed fish in leavesTopsher Cutlet Mango fish cutletKosha Mangsho Sukka MuttonDaab Chingri Prawns cooked in coconut milk and served artistically in a coconutRui Kalia Rui fish in traditional bay leaf and garam masala curryHot puffy Luchi Piping hot and puffy puri Calcutta Chicken BiryaniMishti Doi famous bengali sweet and creamy yoghurtRosogulla needs no descriptionGur SondeshSo all you Mumbaikars, if you want a taste of Bengal, you don't need to travel all the way to Kolkata.
