Thackers - Mumbai

Visited thackers on a Monday afternoon for lunch. Thackers is 5 min walking distance from charni Road station. They have great ambiance with large A/c seating on their 1st floor. It was pretty busy considering it was Monday. We tried their Unlimited Jain Gujarati Thali. It was priced at Rs 700 taxes They have daily different menu. Food we had : Aam ras (Limited) Samosa Khatta dhokla Dahi wada Turiya Patra Bhindi sambhariya Kacha kela sabji Rangoni val Surti dal Kadhi Puri Rotli Methi thepla Green peas pulao Steamed rice Chass Papad Salad Pickles Thali was amazing super delicious. Everything served was fresh hot. Definitely worth trying with your friends and family who loves Gujarati food. P.S. Please do not waste any food just because it's unlimited. Order as much as you could eat.

Very nice foody experience. The special Gujarati thali was very tasty. It was really great to have some good vegetarian food, especially since I live in Canada. I guess we Indians are always starved for some good wholesome food, and this thali did not disappoint. I had a friend along with me from the US, and he loved it, too. We both over ate quite a bit...lol... but worth it. Even the service was top-notch. The servers were very kind and always made sure that we had enough on our plate.

Good Thaali Food and set menu as well, Punjabi Gujarati Thaali with many varieties of dishes and chapatis, serves fresh cooked food with well serving staff.

A good gujarathi thali. Raj Jambu for desserts with khatta dhokhla, stuffed idli and veg puff starter we could not resist. The rotla, hot puri, chapati made us ask for once more. Memories refreshed and mind replete.

Lovely food, me not being that find of Gujarati thali... I simply love n relish the taste of thali at Thackers. Earlier the price for 1 thali used to be 550/ per person including GST now they have increased to 735/ per person which is high and on expensive side... I think they should consider and reduce the price to 600/ including GST. Giving 4 for pricing else they deserve 5 stars. Staff is very cooperative and we'll mannered.
