Cafe Liv - Murren

How amazing that this adorable little cafe on top of a literal mountain has vegan milk and dessert options! Love! One of the baristas, Jonathan, is vegan and makes the desserts and foods himself! Highly recommend!

I didn't expect to find a vegan friendly place here! Café Liv is a small oasis of vegan treats and coffee in the beautiful village of Mürren. I found a vegan cake, banana bread and a cabiatta sandwich. They prepare coffee with oat milk. Inside you will find a hip and beautifully decorated café that plays soft music with French lyrics. You also have toilets.

The whole family brought to Cafe Liv for lunch and we were very impressed! The carrot soup and vegan sandwiches were so tasteful and it was great to have something fresh after a lot of trips. The vegan banana bread was very delicious. The staff was beautiful and the outdoor area has a great view. The non-vegans in our family also enjoyed their sandwiches! Apart from snacks and two marked vegan cakes, they now also have all vegan popsicles including plant milk based ones. Nice. The carrot cake I tried was good, too. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-02
