The Water's Edge Wine Bar and Grill

Bad dinner. Not recommended. Forgot the appetizers. Removes $125 bottle of wine from the table with wine in it. Decrypted bottle. Not back to the table to check for 45 minutes. In an empty restaurant. I wanted to sit somewhere else. You said... no, it doesn't take long to set up a table. Worst experience. Will NOT be back.

You will be shocked when you see your bill. Especially after permanent indifferent service, and only mediocre food. But the setting is fabulous and you can only see a Hollywood star or NHL hockey player.

This restaurant deserves a star for setting a beautiful terrace with a beautiful lake view! The food was unnoticed. However, the contempt for Kovid rules was appreciable. Almost none of the males wore a mask when she walked around the terrace... and not even I saw an employee trying to force someone or encourage someone to wear one. Many of the employees also wore their masks wrong. In addition, guests were allowed to have their pet dogs with them on the terrace, which is a clear violation of our public health regulations. I will definitely not be back and will definitely report this restaurant to the local public heat unit.

I can compete with another critic about the lack of enforcement with social confrontation on the terrace. I have visited various terraces in several jurisdictions that need cartridges to carry masks, at any time they are not at their dining table, i.e. when in transit... from. That wasn't the case. It was a little annoying. A bit negligently seen on the restaurant part, and we often felt that we were endangered as people did not respect our room and wore no masks. I had the goodbye, which was all right. The rosemary cream sauce had a magnificent texture, but was very dirty. I couldn't even recognize any rosemary on the taste, tasteless. Was happy for the sun-dried tomatoes in it, for the occasional taste. The patio is staggered from the waterfront, a lot of docks takes away from the lakeside ambience, airflow also lacked. I think they have some things to work, but it's hard to be overly critical to a terrace on the water in Muskoka. We will definitely return, but not while Covid, no chance!

Off the beaten path you will find a Pub with a variety of patio settings. An outdoor bar a 2nd Outdoor patio near the main entrance and a 3rd patio just above the lake. you can drive your boat up to the Waters Edge Bar....Note limited Umbrella's available to cover you from the intense sun. The food is very good the service is ok most of the younger staff are still learning the ropes . Overall everyone is very friendly. IF your looking to spend a little more for a higher end venue this is a place to go
