Grumpy Monk - Myrtle Beach

Love the mood in this place. We just moved here so we have a lot to try. The name alone let us select this, and the menu was not disappointed. The Happy Hour menu was quite extensive. Our server, Jan, was attentive and not overlaid. Our drinks were always full. The parking lot was full when we arrived there, so we expected to wait and were pleasantly surprised to sit immediately. We always order fried green tomatoes when they have them when we try a new place. We are used to fried green tomatoes with piono and tomatoes jam, as they appeared without the whole fan farewell, I was skeptical, but they were crispy, tasty, and came with not one, but two diving sauce... a sweeter and a spicer. They have vegan options and vegetarian as well as all burgers and wings. We will definitely be back often to try all things!!

To the Carolina Forest location near the HWY 501 outlets. Tried the Mexican roll, tuna bacon roll, taste of the explosion roll and the volcanic roll. The volcanic roller was definitely not popular. It was quite busy during the happy hour, but we received our food quickly and enjoyed their beer selection while we waited.

Excellent menu from sushi to an incredible chicken waffles sandwich. You will not be disappointed by the quality of menu items or service. This is the place when you are golfing at the legends or in the city on holiday.

Owners are from Buffalo, NY! This is a fantastic bar / restaurant made directly by people who know the business clearly. They have a large variety of menus, handcrafted beers, perfect decor, excellent staff (especially thanks to our waitress Jill), all to a pleasant, relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. Our whole food was delicious! We had such a pleasant lunch. I recommend that you try the Grumpy Monk!!

Good local place, sushi is American style but tasty. Great craft beer selection. Cold AC.
