La Toque - Napa

Has really beautiful, but it does not feel very special in the inner and not so great an experience as its old location

Obviously a bad night in the office when both service and eating suffered, apparently due to a large private room booking that is not an excuse. my halibut was partly overcooked, as the prep was uneven; the kalbshaup was not a big piece of meat and how for the strawberry nodes it was the worst ever just brot. a small point, but should diner pour her own wein in a michelin star restaurant? I don't think so. all these points were addressed with our waiter at the end of the evening. it would have been nice to get a confirmation from the restaurant later.

Excellent eating. the location in a hotel made it less of an unforgettable experience. would recommend a better ambiente music and guests should dress up for such an amazing food experience!

We were extremely disappointed in La Toque. The service was subpar and the food was not good. We waited an average of 30 minutes between each course. When the food finally got to us, one of our items was cold (when not supposed to be). The flavors were just okay. Each time, we had someone new delivering our food and sometimes they’d tell us about it, sometimes not. We have no problem paying $500 for two people when it’s worth it. This just wasn’t even close.

We love this place! Food is amazing and service is too!
