Degani - Narangba

Hubby and I dined here for breakfast on the weekend ordered the smashed avo on sourdough and ordered poached eggs with it as extra.  I also ordered a yummy mango smoothie, and hubby ordered a large latte to go - didn't receive the latte until almost after we finished our meals, however he said the latte was pretty good :-)  We'll definitely come back here soon!

Came at about 10.30am on a Saturday. Most tables inside were full. Great rustic look cafe. Nice simple menu with a lot of Vegetarian options for me. Staff friendly and welcoming like they actually like working there. Had the Breakfast Bruschetta. My OJ came out swiftly with the bottle and a tall glass with ice and straw! Only a few minutes later my meal came out. Wow that was fast considering how many people were there. Food and drink was perfecto! Forgot to take a picture but I see others have already done that for me :) Well priced too. Will be back!

Great brekky there this morning! Big breakfast was massive and cooked perfectly , along with smashed avo and poached eggs very yummy! lovely service with a smile :) will be back!

We ordered iced coffee's and got basically glasses of flavored milk.Disappointing.

I have recently had to start drinking lactose free coffee and it's been an interesting awakening. When ordering coffee at Degani I asked if they had Zimmel and was told yes, and was charged an additional $1 for the privilige. I have been charged 50c to 70c extra but never $1, but being new to it all I paid. I watched the lactose long life packaged milk being pulled out of the fridge. I understand the additiinal charge because Zimmel costs more than ordinary milk and this charge is the 'additional' cost above what what it would cost for normal milk. This product & brand costs $2 from Woolworths and is a 1 litre which will make 4 cups of coffee so the Degani makes an additiinal profits per cup .50c + what they have budgeted for milk in the basic beverage price. I'm sure I'm like all people whose dietary requirements dictate their purchases I'm happy to pay extra but not happy to have the retailer use it to make a profit from.
