El Taco - Nelson

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The service is extremely friendly. I wasn't sure if the extra hot spice level was spicy enough, so they offered me a taste on a chip. For those who enjoy spicier dishes, I highly recommend trying the extra spicy chicken burrito!

I visited this restaurant over the Canada Day long weekend and had a fantastic experience. The food was superior in quality and value compared to the other pricey Mexican restaurant in town. The beef burrito was large and packed with flavor, and the chipotle cheese dip was both refreshing and distinct. The service was prompt, and I enjoyed sitting on the nice patio.

El Taco definitely has the best burrito in town. Eating there is an experience you need to try. The staff is incredibly friendly and I have never been disappointed with their service. However, I think they should consider offering a delivery service. I'm sure they would attract a lot of business and satisfy many customers.

Great Mexican place in nelson. the atmosphere is unsurpassed, super friendly, and many local to chat. accessible street side, covered terrace, perfect stop before or after a ride. their burritos are at the top of the local competition. 1.5 lbs pure sky, packed in high quality teig. they leave here full, satisfied, and it does not break the bank. very affordable, especially for what they get. I can't get the truthahn chorizo back enough. can choose how sharp they want it, and choose whether they want hot sauce as side. taking a bite had the same feeling as the first bite in a piece pizza. it's so good, every time. I was in el taco and never regret it when you're hungry and want to eat a good one. call them el taco and get them a burrito, their chair will be happy that they have done it. fantastic location also. simple street side, right in front of victoria. so you can come in and get out without tapping the Nelson bottleneck.
