The Rose Garden Cafe - Nelson

We found this gem of an Italian restaurant about five years ago while strolling through Old Montreal. The food is authentic and delicious, truly a taste of Italy done right! My husband and I highly recommend it.

What's going on, Montreal!? I don't get why this place is so popular. The food was just okay, but the service was terrible and slow.

What a little gem this place is! The best onion rings I've had in a long time. The kids at all their food, total bonus. I loved my tofu tacos and we were able to eat at a picnic table in front of the playground so when the kids were done we didn't have to rush to finish or deal with crazy kids at the table. Friendly service too!

A great place to enjoy a Meal or Ice Cream right in the park by the beach if you dont feel like a packing a picnic!

Lovely in the summer (only open then) to sit in the park and enjoy a Pannini with Yam fries, oh so healthy.
