We have to stop whenever we're in the area. My family knows they're in for some great food and can hardly wait to get there. I had been a family tradition.
The drinks and brown gravy were not to my liking because they tasted horrible made with the local water. Ordered iced tea, and it tasted dirty. I was told the Dr. Peppers tasted okay. No, they did not. Why in the world would they serve dirty tasting drinks?? Also, the brown gravy was made with dirty water. They should not have served anything made out of the dirty water. The side salad and the hamburger steak were pretty good.
What a great place to stop at while traveling down 1-20. The food was great and the prices were even better. Service was fast.
Quaint home cooking type restaurant up on a hill with a nice view of the West Texas landscape. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds from our booth at a window.
