The Spice Village - Neyattinkara

I ate several times here, tried the dosa, some curry and everything was always well prepared and yummie. It takes a little time to get your food, as they make it freshly so it worth the wait.

It's the best place with most delicious food not only in Kovalam and India! Maybe in Lyon you can find something almost as much delicious, but it will be 10 times more expensive ;) These smily gyus cook for you as if you were their relative, and you really can feel it in this food. Most of my friends (quite a number during several years) who've been there consider it the most tasty and cozy place (I have my favourite corner there:) ) in Kovalam. Maybe it's one of few reasons for me to come back namely to Kovalam for 3 times already (the 4th is coming soon).And by the way, Russian Polyglot guide gives just 3 restaurant recomendations in Kerala: 1 in Kochi, 1 in Trivandrum, and Spyce Village in Kovalam! :)

We were introduced to the Spice Village by Vipin a local lad...We went in on another hot day,,The staff were fantastic..They were so friendly ,and helpful..When my salad was bought out it was a work of art..So good to look at ..It tasted fantastic....My husband and son tried various dishes,they were made with lots of love and care..Please visit this little restaurant you will not be dissapointed

Sree can make anything! I was not feeling well, and he told a friend to tell me to come anyway, and he would make something for my sore throat and upset stomach. He prepared a delicious warm ginger-lemon-honey beverage followed by a spicy vegetable soup--and by the end of the meal I felt great. He is a healer, a teacher, a chef, an open-hearted and kind man, and a devout HIndu. Discover this little gem in Kovalam and you will not be disappointed!

This place is just awesome. Food quality, location are great. Staffs are very nice. Seafoods and Kerala delicacies must be tried here. Cards are accepted here.
