Jameson's Pub Cocktail - Niagara Falls

If you're going to charge high-end restaurant prices, you need to provide high-end service to match. We ordered two beers and an appetizer, and the staff seemed disappointed that we weren’t ordering full meals. Given the negative vibe and the pricing, we decided not to stay. We were hoping for a lovely dining experience with excellent service and would have been willing to pay your steep prices if the service had been exceptional. Unfortunately, we had to request cutlery, and when the charcuterie board was delivered, the server asked if we wanted side plates or just napkins. Why even ask? In a restaurant of this caliber, these things should be automatically provided. Overall, service needs significant improvement. That said, we do want to commend the kitchen—the charcuterie board was absolutely delicious.

The food is decent, but it doesn't justify the price. The server was very friendly, though.

Recently, it seems like they are short-staffed. I wouldn't order the hamburger again, but everything else has been good in the past.

Food is very tasty and well prepared. Service was excellent. Beautiful art deco style restaurant. “Niagara Falls” prices, though.
