Curries (both red and green) are super peppery tasting and not creamy at all. Coconut soup was good, but not the best I've had. Mango salad was a smaller portion and with an acceptable flavor. They changed the pad see ew to chicken for me instead of beef, which was nice, and was the best dish we had from this order. I didn't try the penang curry from our order, but the person who did said it was bitter. Beautiful interior decoration in the restaurant though. All in all, nothing to write home about, and I won't be returning here.
Although the waitess/hostess was polite, we were very disappointed with the food and management of this restaurant. We traveled from toronto to celebrate our friends 70th birthday and dinner was the highlight of our trip but it was a total disappointment. We ordered several dishes which we expected to be authentic but they all arrived cold, the Thai red and green curry was watery and soupy and had no coconut milk flavor. The pad Thai noodles was grey. There was 8 of us and so we ordered enough to share and we all dished out our food and started to eat when we realised that everything was cold, the waitress told us to put it back in the bowl and she would warm it up....we already started eating. We asked to speak to the manager but she apparently was too busy to come out to talk to us. I was livid that for the amount of money we spent approximately $250, they did nothing to compensate not even a discount. Definitely not going back there and Definitely won't recommend it. The food was horrible.Parking: Parking is available either on the street or behind the restaurant
A Thai Javanese blend. Liked the Thai part better. Sushi was good. The curries we tried were amazing. Rocking with flavors and delicious. Service staff were very pleasent and quick service.
Lets start with some positives. The person serving us was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and very christmas oriented which is fine. My friends got a meal with chicken and it was cooked well, not dry.But if you feel like paying $10 for coconut shrimp from a box frozen and $23 for a crispy shrimp meal where the cook throws a whole frozen box of the weird long shrimps then throws on some very undercooked veggies and calls that a 23 dollar meal... go nuts. I was very dissapointed by these dishes, i understand shrimp can be expensive but prep it yourself or dont offer it at all and price it the same as fresh. All the appetizers are from a box so dont bother unless youre very hungry. Stick to the chicken and maybe the beef but i havnt tried any beef from there.
Nice restaurant serving some warm spicy food. The green curry and siracha chicken was delicious and flavorful. Quick service and very moderately priced. will return
