Feedback gevenI thought this place would be cheesy and overpriced due to the name and location, but it was actually cute. We looked through the gift shop before going in but waited to buy until eating first, glad we did since they gave us a 10% off coupon with the check. There were a few different choices when compared to all other local eateries, and even tacos on the kids menu, but our kids devoured their dinner and we had a lot of leftovers for the price we paid. We did wait a bit, but did not mind since the view was wonderful outside. So glad we stopped in!
Nice quiet lunch spot . It's across the street from the American falls and a garden to the side. Prices were average as Niagara Falls prices go.
On our journey back south on the WEGO we were starving and planned on eating at the Grandview marketplace however upon seeing that the only options were Grandview restaurant charging $17 for a hotdog and fries or a fast sushi stand we walked back to try this place. It was hard to get seated. There is a drink/bussing stand right outside the front doors in plain view (tacky like the decor) and even though they saw us walking up they didn't greet us right away. We were ignored and I not had 3 starving kids and burning tired feet we would have went elsewhere. We asked to sit on the patio and service was very, very slow although friendly. She even accommodated my need for a tiny portion since weight loss surgery. No frills fare. The kid's chicken fingers and fries were standard, another had a BLT on a croissant and my tuna which you can add to a salad was just canned tuna with mayo. Pretty much what we can make at home however considering the convenient location and being able to sit down and relax and eat it was a nice lunch. The server working the table next to us disappeared after delivering the checks so our poor server had to handle both tables at once; she was very graceful. That table was waiting for pay for their checks for ages while we ate, goofed off and went to the restrooms until they finally flagged our server down. What happened to her? It wasn't a busy place.Very tacky decor
It was nice to find a spot that offered a reprieve from the crowds and noise - the food was ok, the service was slow, as others mentioned. We were there on a beautiful day and enjoyed our break on the patio.
The food is all locally grown and taste good for a decent price. The dishwear is older and the service is a bit slow. But you get a great view of the Falls if you sit outside.
