New Bharati - Nice

I am visiting Nice for 5 weeks. I am in a private apartment. I have passed this restaurant often coming from a local supermarket.The first time I stopped to check out the menu on the window of this restaurant, a passing stranger said that the food was good here. A week or so later, I stopped again to check out the menu. Another stranger, also looking at the menu, said the same thing: The food here is good. It was then that I decided that I would check out this little neighborhood restaurant at some point. I went there last night. I was alone.This eatery is small and unpretentious. I went without a reservation. There were about 6 to 8 people there at the time (one appeared to be a family of about 5 or 6).The service was prompt and pleasant.I had a simple chicken dish (Chicken Tikka Masala) with plain white rice (Riz Basmati) and a beer (Heineken). My bill was 18.50 Euros. The food was the tastiest that I have had since coming to Nice.I have a feeling that this may be a new location for this restaurant. In trying to write this review for it, I found a restaurant with the same name but at a different location here in Nice.I shall definitely go back. The next time, I will take my camera with me to take some photos.

Went to this restaurant based on the ratings in TripAdvisor ( was surprised to c a 5 star rating) but was worth it!! Had my dinner there for 2 days 1st day v had chicken biryani which was cooked very well with the right amt of spices nd portion size was gud 2nd day v had a veg thali which was also very nice Definitely i would go bak to this hotel if I'd visit nice again

Great tasty food and price. Very friendly staff. Would recommend! We arrived late in the evening and felt very welcome and not rushed at all.

Que ce soit sur place ou à emporter , les plats sont délicieux, livraison a domicile rapide , horaire respectés; Tarif très raisonnable . Une boisson offerte très régulièrement , personnel sympathique . Nous recommandons vivement ce restaurant indien!!

Si le personnel est sympathique et souriant, les plats eux, sont plutôt tristes en saveur !Beaucoup trop de sauce pour masquer le manque de goût !Nous avons essayé Une fois suffit !
