On the first floor in the women’s restroom, there are two stalls, no changing table, one paper towel dispenser and one soap dispenser. I literally had to wait to use the soap and reach over the other sink to use it. I would think the restrooms would be more family oriented or a little bigger. This lady came in looking for a changing table and had to go somewhere else to change her child’s diaper…
We had a really great time here. The video game exhibit that was going on was super cool.My kids learned a lot about ships and loved all the hands on learning about them. The ship is hard to navigate, but it is really fun to walk through and learn about how the crews lived and what they did. It's put together wonderfully. I truly enjoyed some of the sounds they had going in certain rooms that really made them immersive for us.
Amazing navy museum! 3 floors of facts and fun! They have amazing original boat equipment to touch and see. History at every turn! Not just the writing with pictures on the walls but films and documentaries playing. Educational games and brain boosters and even not so educational games like the old sonic. I personally loved the huge battle ship game! Once you circled all there is is see there (which could take hours) be sure to board the battleship itself! It's HUGE! You can play where they shoot the guns, go see where they slept and ate and bought things. It gives you a great respect for our Navy and the sacrifice they make to serve our country. Thank you all who have and are serving?
If you were on the fence about attending the after dark 21+ event let this be your sign to go. It was so wonderful to enjoy the museum without having to deal with children everywhere. Even though the event was sold out it was not overly crowed at all. There were 3 different areas to order drinks which made things move smoothly. The prices for food and drink were extremely fair and ranged from $5-$8. I would definitely attend future events
