Feedback gevenGreat experience and nice atmosphere. Staff were very attentive and drinks were all great. All in all it was a good visit.
We had a great day but only due to the hard working staff member making it. Management need to do better and have more than one person working on a Tuesday afternoon. The girl on was awesome, deserves credit as she was brilliant. Thank you
Nero's is my go to coffee shop, but today's experience was awful. Two very demoralised female staff who took nearly ten minutes to serve just two customers. The place was grubby with dirty crockery on tables. People gave up queuing and left.
We ordered 2 salted caramel hot chocolates, we were told straight away that there was no oat milk or vegan cream but when they arrived there was also no fudge brownie pieces. They have a good vegan selection but is disappointing that they had run out of items and still charged us full price when we didn't receive the full drink and also got charged extra for coconut milk. When this was queried we were told that the cream wasn't extra so we weren't charged for this but it was obviously part of the drink so we were paying for it. A slight reduction would have been nice. The seating area was quite dirty, cups still on tables, floor was messy, toilets had tissue on floor, it was 12pm on a Sunday and the woman behind the counter seemed to be on her own so we did not mention the mess as she was busy.
The branch is in a good location near the Pannier Market and offers the usual selection of snacks etc. The staff were pleasant enough and service was fairly prompt. The toilets are cramped and have no fresh air coming in. Overall, it is slightly grubby and a clean/tidy up is needed.
