Doc's - North Georgetown

Better burger but... poor service. The crew needs training and supervision. We waited too long to be served the LAST time. We went for ice cream, waited too long while they were focused on the drive up. So we stood by the ice cream, waiting. Found one of our items were in the drive up cue, the other not made. Long story. They made the second one, took it to drive up. Had to ask it. Not going back.

Burger meat was flavourful. With that said, don't be fooled by their photos. Wanted all the toppings and while I did have each of them on my burger, it might as well not have been on it. I skinny strip of lettuce? Really? One small pickle. The tomato slice was thicker so that was ok. Their seasoned fries were soggy. The dining room had empty salt packets and used napkins on the floor. Wasnt impressed.

Staff wasn't very welcoming, but they weren't rude or anything. I don't think a single staff person smiled once while we were there. Beverage dispenser needed a good wipe down, very sticky splattered. Tables chairs weren't really clean. Food was pretty good though. Just felt very tense uptight in an atmosphere where staff didn't seem to even want to be there lol.

It's a wait for the food but it's always good and they have daily meals for about $8 with tax

Bummer ofan update. Went for a Saturday burger with the kids, ended up leaving before we even ordered. After waiting more than 15 minutes, we were still second in line to order. Seemed very unorganized for a Saturday night. Plus the overall cleanliness of the place has slipped. None of the tables were washed, the floor needs a good deep scrub. Used to love this place, not sure if I'll go back.
