Veri Vego - The Strand - NORTH WARD

We always make it a point to visit this restaurant every time we are in Townsville. The portions are generous and affordably priced. The lovely couple who own and operate the business are truly exceptional. We haven't found a better restaurant anywhere else.

I ordered two dishes but had I known how generous their portion sizes were, I would have only ordered one. The flavors were authentic, the service was excellent and friendly, and the variety of noodles they offer is particularly unique for a western restaurant.

The service was quick (I ordered through Uber Eats) and delivered with a smile. The portions of food were very generous and hot. I enjoyed the Wonton Soup, Fried Rice with egg, and garlic Prawns with Hokkien noodle. Everything was delicious! This was my first time trying this restaurant and I will definitely order from them again.

Great food. In our first week in Townsville I ate the Laksa and Pad Thai, both excellent.

I tried the yummy BBQ pork W/ hot spice and wow was it an experience. The sauce to food ratio was spot on, this made sure that the contents of the dish were not swimming in oil but also were complimented enough to make sure every bite satisfied. The pork was tender, overall amazing meal cheers guys.
