Feedback gevenI had an amazing experience. first the room was fabulous with a view of the fairy. second, the breakfast was delicious; so many sorts. the personal was friendly. dinner was nice with limited options for vegetarians. please take the lunch kit that they are ready to hike (it is worth it anyway)
I hate to give this place a four stars, but although the location is perfect and the personal friendly and eating in the restaurant is really good a critical element must be addressed: the beds. the bets are not real wagers they are like a sofa bed with a very thin matrate upper part. so much I liked the view of the hotel and the bathroom that I could sleep in these beds even after the exhaustion of a hike uncomfortable. I hope they change the bets before I think it is possible to come back.
A fantastic place to hike their trolltunga, only at the rande of quotes. from here you are only a 25-minute drive from the trailhead. the hotel itself is very simple. they get their own bathroom, but it will be naked bones, the bed was more like a cot and had very little support. the views are unpaid. Every morning I would wake up with waterfalls to another secular fjord. eating the restaurant was amazingly great. the pumpkin soup was perfect, well seasoned and like warming. the steak was cooked to a perfect medium well and nicely garnished. I would definitely recommend it.
We had a great 3-night stay here. the bed was very comfortable, the fastnesses outside the window wore only a little white out that made it big to sleep. the restaurant was a bit expensive, but eating was good. I don't know if it's common that hotels in norway have a small refrigerator in the room, but they don't have it here. it would have been great to have one because we didn't want to go in restaurants every day and would rather have bought and stored something from the food business. the staff, room, location, view, breakfast were all great!
The rooms are tiny and there are little to no amenities... so it's pricey considering. It's more like a boutique hostel. Gorgeous view though and is relatively close to Trolltunga although not the closest hotel. The food at the hotel is solid so there's that.
