Christina and 16 customers. She 's keeping up. They recently remodeled and opened under new management and new name. I like the atmosphere. Sort of Industrial Amish . Or, Early American Chipolte .
I'm not sure about the other rating I read on here as it sounds more like personal issue than as a customer rated issue because there was no mention of an actual dining experience or an actual meal eaten there.
While we were near attractions we chose this restaurant. I must say our meals were very good and can recommend it. Too bad we don't live any closer or we'll try again soon. Next time in the area we want to eat there.
I am astonished how wrong my wife and I found some of the negative reviews on another page. We were also in a nearby hotel and we were just through without club to this restaurant. We found it difficult to believe that a restaurant could screw up a beef briquette dip as bad as described on another review... So we ordered it. Yeah, it wasn't the traditional beef dip. We actually found it exceptionally tasteful and delicious (including the au jus). For those who love a beef deep.... You have to try. Do not let a person's opinion fear this experience. I'm sorry we forgot to take a picture of the food. We were more focused on our meal. Additionally... we liked the ambience (although the light blue reminded us of a baby bedroom). The galvanized steel interior, with the other colors, were great. Last... The one photo I took was from her free Wi-Fi password.... AWESOME 97 Roadhouse. Very commendable! Gina was also very good. My diet soda was replaced before it expires twice and she checked us as needed.
