Highly impressed by the quality of the food. Chips weren't oily, was crispy. Hake was cleaned perfectly, batter was perfect and fish was so fresh it was still swimming. Service was also great. We've had some on/off experiences with Fish Express over the years, but I must say that recently they've upped their game. The shop was very busy but we received our food fairly quickly and our takeaways were brought out to us. The calamari was exceptional, as was the fish. Chips well-drained and not oily at all. The rice and tartare are also delicious. Meal type: Dinner
