Keanes - Oranmore

During our stay in Oranmore we ate at this pub every night. The first night we arrived we got there around 8:45pm and had no idea the kitchen closed at 9pm. The chef graciously cooked us dinner, even though he had every right to say no and send us on our way. The staff was amazing and the locals at this pub made us feel right at home. Everyone wanted to know our story and we wanted to know theirs. By the end of the night the locals at the bar said goodnight to us, along with most left in the pub. The second night we went around 7pm, and were greeted by some of the same people we saw the night before. This time we ordered different food and it was equally as excellent. If you're staying in Oranmore I highly recommend visiting this pub and getting to know the people in there. We will absolutely be back!

We had roast lamb here and it was really nice, the staff were all friendly and the bar had a great atmosphere.

My husband and I went on a very busy night and also on a slow night. Staff friend;y and accommodating always. Good food, drinks and made us feel welcome.

Ok, the chicken was passable, just. The lettuce was awful, overly strong, and full of thick leaves pulled from the plant, with no effort made to shred or present a decent meal. No shredded nice presentation. Chicken breast sliced in 3, crispy bits on the outside, and a few bits of bacon thrown in for good measure. Plates had about 10 lettuce leaves with some sauce thrown at them, big stalks and wow! was it a strong flavour, not the Ceasar dressing the lettuce? Over priced and awful.
