Feedback gevenI've been going to Soco for the past seven years, and I absolutely love the ambiance! I've always had a fantastic experience with their service. Their avocado toast is my favorite, and the bottomless mimosas are a real treat! I always have a wonderful time here, and I highly recommend this place!
It's been eight years since my last meal at Soco, and I can honestly say it was better than ever! Chef Greg Richie has elevated every detail, and his creativity is unmatched. The Bacon Egg and Cheese Shrimp and Grits were perfectly balanced—truly the best I've ever tasted. My wife enjoyed the Lobster with tomato and Burrata, which was incredibly light, fresh, and flavorful. Eight years ago, he was serving deconstructed moon pies as part of his innovative baking concept, and today we were treated to homemade blueberry pop tarts! It was an unforgettable experience.
My favorite place for Sundays! I absolutely love the chicken dumplings, steak and eggs, chicken bisque, and fish cakes. Don’t forget to try a Kentucky cooler or an Old Elk barrel selection from Soco!
The desserts were probably the weakest part of the meal. The chocolate cake with potato chip crust had a great exterior, but the cake itself was quite dry, especially given its density. The caramel bourbon banana pudding was enormous—delicious, but it might be better if it were smaller so each bite could incorporate all the flavors rather than just those on top. Unfortunately, the service was the low point of our evening. Our server was very friendly, but she had to manage a large private party that arrived after us, which took up most of her attention, in addition to a few other tables in the dining room. We found ourselves waiting quite a while to order new drinks, to receive them, to order our next course, and to get the bill. We ended up being late to a show at Dr. Phillips, even though we arrived two hours early and the restaurant was less than half full aside from that big party. While it wasn't the server's fault, it was an issue with management not distributing the tables more effectively. Despite this, we’ll still be back, and I highly recommend the place!
Great restaurant Professional staff Fall menu was done very well. Would of liked a little bolder flavors.
