Maxine's On Shine - Orlando

This is a fantastic spot for a weekend brunch! The only downside is the lack of a parking lot, which means you'll need to find street parking. Additionally, the outdoor seating is on a raised platform, making it challenging for my husband, who has a disability. However, the menu is eclectic and absolutely delicious. I ordered the lobster omelet, and the portion of lobster was very generous! It’s also a great place to enjoy weekend sangria or mimosas served in mason jars that resemble wine glasses. Overall, I give it a thumbs up!

Amazing little place in a neat location, tons of character, the food was so good we have to go back and try more, had trouble choosing what to order because everything looked so good, and the specials were even more tempting. You know it's good when theside of veggies were delicious and cooked to perfection. Within minutes we meet both owners and had their personalrecommendations and off menu wine specials to order. We cleaned our plates and had to order desert, we received comp glasses ofchampagne for my wife's b-day and a personal toast from the owner. A MUST visit if you are in town.

We started with the sangria, which was delicious, and then tried the tangerine mimosas, which were just as good. For breakfast, I ordered the brisket while my partner had the chicken bowl loaded with toppings. Both dishes were delectable, and we even left with some leftovers. I can't believe I waited so long to come here. We will definitely be back soon! The Halloween decorations were fantastic, by the way, and everything was for sale, with proceeds going to charity! P.S. I usually skip biscuits because they tend to be too dry, but these were moist and delicious—I ordered one to take home!

This quirky restaurant has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We arrived with a reservation and were quickly seated and greeted. At first glance, the menu appeared quite basic with limited options. I decided to go with the magical dining experience to sample a variety of dishes. The coconut shrimp were delightful, but unfortunately, my steak did not meet expectations. The mixed vegetables and steak were tasty, but the mashed potatoes were quite peculiar. The gravy had an unexpected hint of cinnamon, which left me feeling confused and diminished my appetite. My companions agreed that the mashed potatoes were a low point in the meal. Those who ordered the chicken Parmesan found it to be bland and lacking flavor, describing it as watery. Dessert followed the same trend, with offerings that were mediocre at best. I was initially excited after reading positive reviews and hearing great things about this place, but the overall food experience felt disappointing and underwhelming. I may consider giving it another shot at brunch.

Awesome vibes with great food and great company. Our server (Julia is her name j believe) was EXCELLENT! She was a wizard at remembering orders. Food was awesome. The artwork was phenomenal. No wonder this is a local favorite! They did however hustle usin trying to take our plates away when we were clearly still working on it. That was a little annoying.
