Lusitania - Ostende

Gewoonweg genieten daar de menu van de chef wauw het smakenpallet was subliem

Exquisite food. Everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The only minus point we had was that it seemed that our dessert was forgotten for a moment in the kitchen. So, there was a rather long wait at the end. Still, I was too impressed with the quality of the food and the size of the portions to drop it a star. If you love sea food or are looking for that fine dining feel without breaking the bank, this is a must visit restaurant!

We had the €40 menu which started strong with generous portions of shrimps, but ended subpar. We waited 1.5 hours between starters and main course and received laughable portions of fries (see picture). The steak tartare was not fresh and seemed to have been defrosted (but not properly). The fish dishes were good. Coffee, tea and biscuits were nice. The interior is cosy and acoustics are good for larger groups.

Very good menu with some unexpected but nice options.

Food and hospitality where very good. Nice collection of wines.
