Estro' Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Lounge Bar

My girlfriend and I decided to eat here because we liked the menu. So we both ordered a starter and a main course. To our surprise we first got our main course and a few minutes later we got our starter. When I asked the waiter (bald man) for a statement, he walked away and told us; “it’s a mistake”. Unbelievebel, we stayed polite, we have eaten our main course and 1 of the 2 starters because this was tomato with mozzerela. we tried the other dish but did not eat it because the carpaccio meat was warm. When we went to pay we got inside the restaurant to stop the conversation on the terrace. We told our feedback and let them know to be very dissatisfied, above all by the reaction of the male waiter who did not care at all. Yes he apologized after but that is very late

Right near the water. Very enthusiastic service. Nice lunch with excellent fruta del mare. Not too many tourists; mostly locals. Best to go during the week.

This is a lovely unpretentious bar near the beach in Otranto but it's not overrun by tourists. A nice terrace by the river is a great place to unwind or have a preprandial. We sat for ages one morning drinking coffee and watching the fish and frogs in the stream and the lizards darting about the place. Luigi is a great host and is the font of all knowledge about the town.

We were coming back from a long day on the beach and we decided to stop in Otranto. The town is very cute, with its gothic area by the castle. But we needed to sit down and refresh ourselves with a couple of cocktails and something to eat... Well this place allowed us to do it in style! Great mixers and delicious snacks, under a lovely gazebo. What more could you ask!

Great food, great service. Very good value for money. The seafood starter for two at 16 euros is enough for a light shared supper. Good local wine. Quiet and centrally located.
