Many know and appreciate the Lido Due Mori for the beautiful beach, the crystal clear sea and the comfortable equipment that makes available to its guests. Few know, however, that in addition to the well-stocked bar, where there are miracles of efficiency and wonders of goodness in the form of sandwiches and pancakes, there is a high catering service, reserved for the most refined and difficult to satisfy. From the small kitchen, in fact, there are incredible and unexpected delicacies capable of surprising anyone for their quality. A careful and very sensitive organization, worthy of a large restaurant, places a manic attention in the selection of raw materials. This is the small great secret that lies behind dishes such as carpacci and fish tartares, octopus salads and sepia salads with artichokes, oiled algae, marinated anchovies in vinegar with Tropea onions, shrimps and raw scampi and many other wonderful sea crudities. All to bathe with wine bottles and prestigious bubbles. If the quality of the dishes is added the beauty and peculiarity of the scenery, the picture of an experience that deserves to be made as soon as possible and that I recommend to all.
After twenty minutes waiting in front of the cashier I try to ask the only person present in the structure (the owner) how long it had to take at least our order. The answer comes directly from the kitchen shouting that we have to wait or there is one we could go. I highly recommend to anyone for the owner's maleducation, but especially for hygienic reasons, since it takes money and touches foods without any concern...
I understand that at the end of the season you can be tired but nothing can justify the maleducation of the manager, shouting insults does not suit anyone who has to deal with the public. At the limit of the complaint. The management of the lido should seriously think of changing management since such bodies are at the expense of the good name of the lido.
