Monte Vesuvio Italian Grill - Oviedo

I can?t put it in words that will do this great Italian restaurant justice. We have been coming here since the start of pandemic when they first opened and hoped that they would make it through. Well they have and there is not one thing on the menu that I have tried that I wouldn?t order again. The Specials are phenomenal.

Garlic knots were great! Will definitely be back for those. The Margarita Pizza was good, but not great. The tomatoes tasted like they were put on after the pizza was cooked. The temperature was just a little cold. Other than that, the service was good and the wait wasnt long.

First time dining in this restaurant. Excellent. Delicious. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Clean, comfortable with every single meal served fresh.

Monte Vesuvio is a wonderful family-run Italian restaurant that honestly deserves a lot more recognition. I came here on a Saturday night with a friend and had no issue getting a table. We got the garlic knots, frutti di marre, and one of their pizzas and everything was delicious. They have a wide menu and I honestly think that there's something here for everyone and I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes! Service was also lovely. Monte Vesuvio is one of the best restaurants Oviedo has to offer and I recommend it to anyone!

Highly recommended! This place is truly a hidden gem! Don't let the tacky decor fool you! The food is exceptional, crafted from scratch. Some options like steak and seafood are on the pricier side, but pizzas start at $9 and feed two, and most pastas are reasonably priced. Everything we've had is excellent.
